About the project:
Ollerton Oaks is a stunning new development of contemporary homes in Ollerton, Cheshire. The twelve properties will include a range of 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-bedroom houses, finished to a high specification and in a contemporary and modern style. The semi-rural site boasts a central core of tall Oak trees and blending the building design with the natural landscape is a central aspect of the project. In fact, each home will have its own expansive garden plot with plenty of windows to maximise natural light and views. Key design features including frameless glass balconies and roof-top garden patio areas also emphasise this. Spacious bedrooms and bespoke individual kitchens are also part of the property design.
Externally, this development will combine the classic red sandstone of the Cheshire-Brick with porcelain and patinated bronze-effect panels, along with large glass windows, to create stunning contemporary homes.
Our role in the project:
Here at Enviroply Roofing we will be creating and installing a single ply roof system for this development. The roof is one of the interesting and unusual design features for this project, with pitch and roof angles carefully designed to create a striking contemporary roof line. As part of this development, we will be:
-Installing a Sarnavap 500E vapour control layer- This is a vapour control layer designed to offer maximum water vapour resistance, as well as an impressive amount of durability and flexibility for long lasting security.
-Installing Sikatherm Tapered Insulation – The tapered insulation we will be installing will allow a gradient to be created to ensure effective drainage, removing water from the roof.
-Installing a Sika Sarnafil S327-15EL Single Ply Membrane – this option offers a high level of weather and water protection, with ultraviolet light stabilizers and flame retardant for maximum protection. This will be mechanically fixed to the surface of the insulation layer.
