Bituminous Felt
Also known as built up felt roofing; bituminous felt roofing is a tough, strong, and hard-wearing flat roofing option. This involves installing multi-layered felt fiber mats that are coated on each side with a bituminous coat, for highly effective weatherproofing and a lengthy life span.
We use specialised bituminous membranes here at Enviroply Roofing and this means we can install a full range of both torch-on and self-adhesive bituminous membranes to suit a range of flat roofing projects and requirements.
While installation is fast with a torch on bituminous felt roof, the self-adhesive option offers the same high level of protection and quality, while being perfect for flame free roofing projects and installations.
The multi-layer design of the specialised range means that the two different compounds can work effectively together for a high-performance roofing solution that is also technically advanced. The top layer of the membrane provides heat resistance and durability, while the lower layer provides the necessary flexibility and thermal resistance.
