Race for Life
Our very own Teruka and Claire have decided to follow in the footsteps of our Managing Director Jake Clarke (not quite the 75k Jake did…) and take on a
fund-raising challenge, Teruka and Claire will be taking part in the
Race for Life Wigan 5K this month – 17th May 2023
on behalf of Enviroply Roofing.
Teruka and Claire have picked this charity as it is a cause close to both their hearts, this will be a challenge for them but hopefully a fun one too! Whilst raising money for such a worthy cause along the way.
We are very proud they are taking on this challenge, and we hope you will support them both and donate to the just giving page below – all donations are much appreciated.
Thank You!
Hallsworth Road Secured Project
We are pleased to again be working with BridgestoneConstruction on the Hallsworth Road Eccles project, the project will create a new housing development which will include 18 houses and 30 apartments on the former Salford Rooster Rugby League Clubhouse site.
We will be installing a mechanically fixed Single Ply roofing system. To begin will install the vapour control layer (VCL), this will be the Sika S-Vap500 E. This is a VCL which is designed for high quality results and exceptional durability to maximise the roof system longevity.
On top of the VCL, we will then be installing the insulation layer. This is essential for thermal control and for maximum building efficiency. For this project, Sikatherm PIR GT Insulation will be used.
To complete the roofing installation, we will install the Sikaplan® G-15 membrane which is a Polymeric membrane made of multiple polyester reinforced layers. This is an outstanding option for the Hallsworth Road development due to its impressive UV resistance, wind resistance, environmental resistance, and High-water vapour permeability
Greenlink Converter Station
Secured project
We are pleased to be working with Barrier Architectural Services Ltd on the Greenlink Converter Station project, Greenlink is an underground and subsea electricity interconnector linking the power markets in Britain and Ireland. As part of this project, a Greenlink converter station and substation will be created in Pembrokeshire, with underground cabling routed across agricultural land.
We will begin this roofing build up by installing the Vapour Control Layer (VCL). For this we will be using the IKO Ultra Self Adhesive Air and Vapour control layer, installed to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
On top of the VCL we will be installing the insulation layer, for this we will be using the Rockwool Tapered Scheme.
Finally, we will be installing the IKO Armourplan PSG membrane. This will be installed on top of both the vapour control layer and the insulation layer to create a practical and efficient warm roofing system.
