About the Project:
This project was a new build development of 42 luxury apartments in Altrincham, split over 2 apartment blocks each with 3 storeys.
We were engaged to install the full roofing package to the 12 blocks.
The System:
Being a new build, our installation included the full roof build up vapour control barrier adhered to a plywood deck. This was covered by 120mm tissue faced insulation designed and manufactured to achieve the specified u-value. This was all covered by a layer of 1.5mm dark grey S Flex single ply membrane which was fully adhered.
We engaged the services of an external subcontractor to install the aluminium capping system as per the building specifications.
The Result:
On completion of all the works, our installation was fully inspected by not only the manufacturer for the 15 year guarantee, but also by an independent electronic integrity tester. Both field inspectors
commented on the quality of our workmanship and the tidiness of the finish.
All works were completed ahead of schedule and the client was extremely happy to sign off the work as complete.
