Apprentice Fixer – Flat Roofing
We are a successful and growing flat roofing contractor based in Chorley, Lancashire working across the North West and Cumbria.
We are looking for an Apprentice Fixer, ideally located in the Bolton area to join our established teams.
The successful candidates will have some experience in the construction industry, ideally flat roofing. We work mainly with single ply membranes so experience in this area would be advantageous, although not essential as training will be provided on the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Waterproofing Systems – Single Ply Membranes through SPRA – The Single Ply Roofing Association.
Salary: £4.15 per hour (correct at time of entry)
We are looking for individuals with the following attributes:
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills
- Willing to take training as required
- Team worker
- Hard working
- Punctual and reliable
- Fit and capable of lifting relatively heavy materials safely
- Good communication skills as it will be necessary to discuss issues with peers
Skills / Qualifications:
- Good level of education
- CSCS card holder – preferable
- An awareness of Health & Safety
Working hours: 7.00 – 4.00 Mon to Thurs, 7.00 – 3.00 Friday (opportunities for overtime)
