We have successfully completed our roofing works at the Tatton Road development in Sale, delivered in partnership with GK Construction. This redevelopment transformed a former Masonic Hall and Sale Police Station into 30 affordable homes, including houses and apartments, supporting shared ownership and helping to address the local housing shortage in Trafford.
We completed roofing installations across Roof A (293m²) and Roof B (23.5m²) using the Sikaplan SGK-18 single-ply system in Lead Grey, backed by a 20-year guarantee. Our works included full warm roof build-ups with Sika S-Vap 500 E air and vapour control layers, Sikatherm PIR insulation, and high-performance waterproofing membranes, all mechanically fixed in accordance with Sika’s technical standards. Detailed finishes to laps, upstands, penetrations, and edges ensured a fully waterproof, durable roof system.
Completed to a high standard, this project demonstrates a robust and reliable roofing solution tailored to the demands of modern residential developments.

Case Study – Kara Street
he Kara Street development was an eco-friendly housing scheme delivered across two brownfield sites off Kara Street and Liverpool Street in Seedley South. The scheme included a mixture of two, three and four-bedroom homes as well as one and two-bedroom apartments.
We were delighted to work again with Watson Homes on this development, where we installed an Alumasc roofing system, designed with performance and longevity in mind.
Beginning the roofing build-up with the installation of the Alumasc self-adhesive VCL, Followed by the fitting of 200mm Recticel foil-faced PIR insulation.
To complete the system, we installed the Alumasc Roofing Alkorplan Dark Grey single-ply membrane. The membrane was mechanically fixed across the roof areas.
The development at Kara Street was completed to a high standard, fully meeting the requirements for the 20 year guarantee.
