Case Study – Arncliffe Road
A new extra care facility was created for the Arncliffe Road development in Halewood. Built on the site of the former Cherry Tree Children’s Centre, this project involved constructing 77 affordable apartments for residents over the age of 55.
We installed a fully adhered, IKO Polymeric Armourplan roofing system for this development.
The first stage of the roofing build up saw us install the AVCL, for this we used the IKO Ultra AVCL.
For the next stage of the roofing build up, we installed the insulation layer. For this, we used IKO PIR tapered Insulation boards.
Finally, we completed the roofing build up with the installation of the IKO Armourplan PSG single ply membrane.
The project went well and was completed to a high standard, achieving the requirements for a 20-year guarantee.
