Project Overview:

The aim of this project was to replace a large art deco style villa on Ballam Road in Lytham, with an apartment building of similar proportions. The original building was demolished, and 8 new luxury homes have been created on the site. With mature gardens, and stunning architectural design, including an attractive curved staircase, reminiscent of the original art deco building, it’s no surprise that these apartments have become one of the most desirable places to live in the area.

Each property has been designed with luxury in mind, and each apartment features bespoke design choices, underfloor heating, walk-in wardrobes, en-suite bathrooms, and private balconies or terraces.

Our role in the project

Here at Enviroply Roofing, our role in this prestigious project was to create a fully reliable, high quality, effective roof. That’s why we chose a Sika Sarnafil Single Ply Roof, installed using tapered insulation and the fully adhered method. Tapered insulation ensures that the roof has the perfect gradient to allow rainwater to run off and be drained. This prevents any issues developing with standing water. The fully adhered installation method involves securing the roofing membrane using high quality, professional adhesive. With this method we could ensure that the roof would be durable and fully secure for many years ahead, no matter the weather or conditions. Professional wind load calculations were also carried out, prior to installation, to ensure the quality of the installation, and the roof itself. This also means that the roof is incredibly low maintenance.
