We are pleased to be working again with Conlon Construction on the installation of two new Bauder roofing systems for the new canopy roof, and link corridor at the Lancaster University Management School, as part of their East Estate development.
For the new Link Corridor, we will begin by installing the Bauder Felt System, starting with the BauderTEC KSD FBS Air and Vapour Control Layer (AVCL), we will be using hot air tools to secure the AVCL into position.
Following the AVCL, we will then be installing the insulation layer using the BauderFA-TE Tapered Insulation Boards. These are rigid polyurethane foam boards that are faced on both sides with aluminium foil to maintain a high level of thermal efficiency and performance.
Next, we will move onto the green roofing aspect of the development. For both the Canopy roof and the Link Corridor, we will start by installing the Bauder TEC KSA DUO underlayer.
The BauderPLANT E Capping Sheet will be the next stage of the installation process. This is designed to resist the roots of the vegetation that will be applied in the final stage.

Lancaster University Management School
We are delighted to be working again with Conlon Construction, to complete a roof refurbishment, installing an Alumasc Derbigum built up roof system for Lancaster University Management School’s East Estate Redevelopment.
We will begin the roofing build up with the Air and Vapour Control Layer (AVCL), for which we will be using the Derbicoat Alu AVCL.
Following the AVCL, we will then install the insulation layer, for which we will be using Alumasc tapered BGT insulation boards.
Finally, we will complete the roof refurbishment with the installation of the Derbicoat underlay a base layer that is specifically designed for the Alumasc Derbigum roofing system, completing the build up with the Derbigum mineral cap sheet.
